2. How We Use Your Data

Your birth details are used solely to calculate your Vedic birth chart using Swiss Ephemeris and to generate AI-powered interpretations via the Anthropic API. We do not use your personal data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Specifically, we use your data to:

  • •Calculate planetary positions, Dasha periods, yogas, and doshas
  • •Generate AI interpretations of your chart data
  • •Process credit purchases and maintain your account balance
  • •Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets)
  • •Improve service quality and fix bugs

3. Third-Party Processors

We use the following trusted services to operate Kaala:

Supabase — Database and authentication
Stripe — Payment processing
Anthropic — AI-powered chart interpretations
Vercel — Application hosting

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Chart data and AI interpretations are stored so you can access them at any time. If you delete your account, all associated data (profile, birth charts, interpretations, reports, and credit transaction history) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

You have the right to:

Kaala is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Kaala after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
